I have seen video taken inside the Capitol where the "terrorists" were standing around calmly chatting, laughing and taking selfies with police. How could this be going on in one area while cops were getting beaten elsewhere?

While some doors were being broken down, why is there video where another door is opened by cops, who stood to the side while people walked in. One cop saying, "I don't agree with it, but I respect it." If they were trying to protect the Capitol from these "terrorists," why were some let in?

When Babbitt was shot, there were police standing behind the group she was with. It seems odd that cops were behind them, had followed them up the stairs, not intervening, but another decides to fire a shot.

Whey were some cops acting like these people in the Capitol were not a big deal but another feels threatened enough to fire their weapon?

What was the game plan for that day to secure the Capitol? Why such a breakdown in communication? Seems if they really wanted to prevent the Capitol from being breached, they could have prepared forces to do it (hello, National Guard).
Unless they wanted this to happen. Maybe it got as bad as it did because the powers that be wanted it to.

I'm not making excuses for the ones who got violent. They disgust me. All I'm saying is this could have been shut down before it got to that point if security had been prepared adequately. Maybe the cops who testified today weren't the victims of "terrorists" but really were collateral damage of an "insurrection" that was allowed to happen.

These are the inconsistencies I'd like to know about. I watched it happen on live TV, I've seen video taken by the "terrorists," I've seen the despicable violence, and I still have no idea what really happened. It does not seem as clear-cut as the testimony given today.
