Beef prices. Ugh. Last week a beef roast was $3.98/lb - Truthhurts

This week $4.98/lb. if you can even find beef. There's a push on to get everyone on the plant-based diet and off meat entirely. Not me for sure. I tried it twice. Ugh. I love my beef. But if it's not plant-based, it's something else. Why do some think they can order the rest of us to do whatever they want?

A pound of ground pork was $1.89 in the beginning of the year. It is now $3.98, same with Italian sausage. My favorite pretzels were 2/$5 for almost a year and now they're $3 and that's on sale! Price on the bag is $3.49. Potatoes - can't buy them for less than $3 for 5 lb. Beginning of the year they were $1.99 for the 5 lb. A box (5 lb.) of Haddock was $34.99. It jumped $10 to $44.99. Last year you could buy it on sale for $19.99, and regular price was $24.99.

Those are some of the rising prices I've seen.
