Gas is up a buck a gallon...gas was $3.65 this morning.
There’s an article on Zerohedge about Shrinkflation (quantity shrinking but the package sells for the same price). There is going to be a lot of that kind of stealth inflation.
Our favorite corn chips went from $2.99/24 oz. to $3.29/16 oz. bag in one week!
My daughter works at Home Depot. She said that last quarter their store exceeded their goals by almost 100%. Of course with the price of lumber up 300% that isn’t surprising.
