I worked for a patent and trademark attorney for 30 years beside my MT'ing. We did copyright work, too. On news articles, you are allowed to copy 10% without infringing on the owner/author's articles but you have to credit that owner/author. I had never copied more than 10% back then. I have now but not every article. I let the read of my posts know that there's more (if there is).

I don't know if the law has changed or not. I do know that a lot of news sites have different links that you can share the articles with, so that tells me that the article is giving "permission" to publish the whole article on other sites, so it should be fine to do it here.

Maybe we should just stick to the 10% equation and fill in the URL/Link and heading of the article. Makes it quicker to post and think how many other articles you can post here with only copying 10%. LOL
