have ad blockers and have to get beyond a firewall (which I refuse to do). I do only post excerpts from several sites, but I've never been told which sites have to have an excerpt. If that is the case, I'll do it in the future. I'll email the moderator and ask, but it's never been a problem before.

I thought the same thing as you did about the CNN/MSNBC peeps.
