That's on them. Again, how many of us would have the gall to do something like that.
The police only let them in once it became obvious that Trump finally got that big crowd he is always bragging about and they were way outnumbered -- also due to the fact that calls for the National Guard were ignored while Trump watched what was going on.
If they entered the Capitol because a kindly police officer opened the door for them that might be negligible, but after they were in it did not look like many of them were sightseeing or sitting around idly. They had a big speech/prayer thing and egged each other on and it was disgusting to see.
