case through the legal system. He’s had every opportunity to present evidence and has not been able to do that. He’s had recounts that have confirmed the initial counts to be accurate.
His drive has always been that the Supreme Court would have the final say. Without tangible evidence provided to the lower courts, they cannot further the case higher. They’ve made their decisions. It’s over.
Should he attend the inauguration? Yes, of course. I don’t think he will, and that comes off as incredibly petty. The Obamas sat through his inauguration in spite of their feelings, as has every other president in spite of their own feelings. Trump would rather pout like a petulant preschooler and lick his wounds. His choice.
It’s reassuring to see that our votes mattered and that he cannot simply fire and hire another patsy to attempt to manipulate a system meant to protect the American people from circumstances such as these. I was beginning to wonder.
