The Democrats have had a huge problem from the very beginning in challenging President Trump in this year’s election. Simply stated, their problem was, and still is, that Trump’s achievements in his first term in office, his promises made and delivered...and his promise to continue them in his second term... cover the full range of the benefits Americans have always wanted from their president. To name just a few, the Trump economy, until the Chinese sent Covid-19 here to sabotage it, was the best in modern history. There were more blacks, Latinos, Asians and women with jobs than ever before...and their wages were also better than ever. The stock market has soared to more than 60 percent higher than when Trump first took office. And the fortunes of America’s largest corporations have become so good that they’ve been hiring more people than ever before. This boom in hiring includes not only the biggest corporations, but also the small businesses that employ half of all-American workers. Additionally, this involves manufacturers in the “rust belt” that industry observers thought were doomed to never become shiny new and profitable again. More Americans are working under the Trump administration (more than 160 million) with far better pay and, equally important, their jobs are being protected by Trump’s new orders against illegal immigration that now prevent millions of illegal aliens from coming here who, previously, could easily walk in and take away American jobs. Americans getting more of what they want from Trump than from any other president.Trump’s offerings cover nearly all of the benefits Americans want most. This has left precious little for the Democrats to latch on to as their own “exclusive” benefits they alone could offer. This has made campaigning extremely tough for Democrats who would like to attack President Trump for failing to provide something important, something vital to the nation’s well-being, something essential to its continued existence. They’ve been searching long and hard, and now they believe they found the one thing the country needs most that Trump has failed to deliver: a timely, well-planned, comprehensive response to the Corona virus pandemic. The Democrats (Demonrats) think they have Trump “down and out” by casting him as cruelly, unresponsive to the Covid-19 pandemic that has infected 8.2 million Americans and killed 220,000. Democrats, led by Joe Biden, are telling voters that President Trump has abandoned the nation to this terrible disease in favor of keeping the economy open so that the big corporations and their billionaire stockholders can add to their riches. “People are dying” the Demonrats say, “And Trump has done little if anything to save lives.” Nothing could be further from the truth. The mainstream media has hidden the truth about Trump’s excellent, quick response to the pandemic and his huge ongoing efforts to bring it under control and save lives. Here are some of the actions President Trump has taken to minimize and eventually defeat Covid-19:
Upon learning that the virus was transmissible to humans, Trump immediately stopped travel to the U.S. from China, Europe and Iran. This is regarded by medical experts as a response that saved more than two million Americans from dying of the dreaded disease.
During the last eight months, Trump has directed the medical/pharmaceutical communities to develop and implement the most advanced Covid-19 testing system on earth. So far 65 million tests have been completed. The U.S. has five percent of the world’s population, but has done 25 percent of the world’s total Covid testing.
Trump initiated “Operation Warp Speed” to quickly develop and produce effective Covid vaccines. In record time, three are very close to FDA approval with about a dozen more in the trial and approval process.
Trump is directing $1billion to support Johnson &Johnson’s vaccine that’s closest to FDA approval. This will permit J&J to make and distribute 100 million doses of its vaccine immediately when trials are completed.
As of now, since April, Trump’s Covid-19 task force has enabled the medical profession to reduce the pandemic’s mortality rate by 85 percent through the development and use of therapeutics such as Remdisivir, Regeneron and other anti-body treatments.
The work of Trump’s Covid-19 task force has also allowed 86,000 Covid-infected Americans to be treated with “convalescent plasma,” proving that it has had excellent results in reducing the Covid-19 death-rate.
President Trump has worked with various industries, often through the Defense Production Act, to replenish the Obama-neglected National Stockpile of personal protection items and ventilators essential for medical personnel to safely and successfully treat Covid-19 patients. Trump-directed replenishment of these items includes:196 million N-95 respirators, 815 million surgical masks, 20 billion rubber gloves, 34 million face shields, 354 million protective gowns.
Under Trump’s direction nearly 75,000 new ventilators were manufactured to save those critically infected with Covid-19 in hospital intensive care units. These ventilators will continue to be manufactured under new contracts that have a goal of producing 200,000 of them. President Trump has ordered many of these to go to foreign countries desperately in need of ventilators.
Recently, Trump has also directed the production of 300,000 rapid “point-of-care” Covid tests that have been, and continue to be, delivered to nursing homes to protect the elderly who are most in danger of Covid-19 infection.
This is a tremendous response to the nation’s Covid-19 survival needs. It is a comprehensive, early-start program that Joe Biden and his Demonrat legions refuse to acknowledge, constantly lying that the president is uncaring, uncommitted to America’s health needs, and has purposely allowed 8.2 million Corona cases and 220,000 deaths just to keep his economy going and make the rich richer still. This is utter nonsense...brazen lies...that with the media’s complicity attempts to give Biden a compelling reason to be the next president. Ask Biden what he would have done different...done better...done faster than Trump has to defeat the pandemic. All Biden offers is exactly the things Trump has already done and is doing now. Once again, President Trump has pre-empted all the right things needed to beat the pandemic. This has left Biden and the Demonrats with nothing to campaign on except to demand that we ignore Trump’s achievements that are all around us. Vote now! Vote Donald Trump to make America great...prosperous...and healthy again.
