Simple.

But now, Democrat governors have their states in lockdown and nobody is driving. Even when the lockdowns are lifted, more people will still be working remotely, thus reduced commuting. Again, less tax revenues.

So good luck with their new “use tax”

They'll find something else to tax, like breathing.
