Check Your Library - KillerAngel

There are a number of resources available. There are books by grade level for teaching math, English and reading in particular. Your local library will probably have the ones designed for your state's requirements. My library has them in nonfiction in the Kids Room. I think the call numbers are in the 371 - 372 range if you'd like to scope it out.

You can also get DVDs for certain subjects, including Christian-themed. Ask the Kids Room librarian for recommendations.

There are also books for foreign language. My library has them classified as nonfiction. I believe the call numbers are in the mid-400s range, depending on the language. My library has a goodly number of Spanish-speaking patrons, so there is shelving dedicated to books in that language. You can find anything from Dr. Seuss to Harry Potter in Spanish. Sometimes the books are bilingual English-Spanish.

Your library may also have bagged math, reading and language resources (manipulatives).

Don't forget that what your library doesn't have, it may be able to get for you through interlibrary loan. My library's consortium just reopened the catalogue to interlibrary loan today. Anyone with an active card for a library in the consortium can place their own holds on desired material from any other library in the consortium and have them delivered to the library of their choice.

Don't hesitate to ask the Kids Room librarians for assistance. It's what they do! It's where they have chosen to specialize.
