Here we go again. Another story based on a leak by an anonymous source. All of the stories from anonymous leaks have been fake news. You just won't learn. You insist on letting the media embarrass you.
Fair enough. Let's assume the story is true. Russia paid the Taliban for killing American troops. Are you trying to say the Taliban needed an incentive and this is what they were waiting for?
"Oh no, THAT would be stupid! I'm saying Trump didn't do enough to protect Americans."
If you're being honest, this is something you could say about all Presidents past and future. Pick any good thing. There's always a way to do more of it. You could have started sooner, it could have gone on longer, we could have spent more resources, etc.
What exactly are we talking about here? How many troops? Thousands? Tens of thousands? Hundreds?
"The Washington Post reported Sunday night that militants linked to the Taliban killed dozens of U.S. forces in 2018 and 2019 as a part of the Russian scheme." Dozens! How many is that? 24-100? Over a 2 year period?
Didn't you notice that this story isn't damaging EVEN IF TRUE?
Embarrassing.
