Exaggeration - Calm down Posted: Mar 16th, 2020 - 12:00 am In Reply to: Maybe it's time to close the doors temporarily. - What part of this is serious
Getting the virus doesn’t mean a person is necessarily going to die, Trump can probably still give orders from bed and he has lots of backup. I’m using grocery delivery because I’m unable to drive currently due to an injury, but I don’t understand the logic of leaving things in the car for a few days. What would be the point of getting groceries if you are not going to use them? I personally think that we’re on the verge of hysteria. I’m still planning to go to necessary appointments. I’ve been to the salon for a haircut and have gone with a friend to shop. I think we’ve had a couple of reported cases in our area and they are going to start drive by testing next week. The schools and a couple of other public places are closed. The economic fallout from people pushing the panic button is going to be far worse than a few people getting the flu.
