Maybe it's time to close the doors temporarily. - What part of this is serious

Posted: Mar 15th, 2020 - 10:20 pm

My gosh, what is going on through this sure is changing.  I heard on MSNBC that there is talk of a lock down here.  Italy had it worst day at close to 400 deaths.  States are getting very serious about this.  CDC has recommended avoiding gatherings of more than 50.  Personally, I don't even want to do that.

I know Trump tested negative, but this does not look good and hope they decide to shut the place down like the rest of the country is doing slowly.  As much as I don't like Trump, he is in the age group that is vulnerable and should stay out of public!  Let him self-quarantine for his and our protection, and what I mean is we do not need the leader of the country down sick.  Pence could be exposed too and should be self-quarantined.  Good grief.  We could run this country through phone conferences, video conferences, etc.  I realize there are essential and the president is essential but he can do it from the White House and he needs to stay away from Mar-A-Lago.

I know several old people with illnesses and I have recommended either delivery groceries or at least pick it up.  That is so much less chance of being exposed and leave the bags, other than stuff that needs refrigerating, outside in the garage, car or whatever for a few days if possible.  or wipe plastic things like milk containers with wipes.

Any other useful tips?  Feel free to share.  I think that would be nice. :)
