that apparently lost the money but it was found by the current mayor.
As far as repair, I believe all the main water pipes are fixed, but they are fixing everybody's pipes to their homes and businesses and that isn't done. I'm not quite sure where it became the taxpayer's responsibility to fix pipes going to their houses. If my pipes are bad from road to house, that's my responsibility.
Just some comments about this because I know it will be turned into a democrat/republican argument, but the previous mayor was a democrat (lost the money), current mayor democrat (found the money) and under the oversite of a republican governor and also in part because people want free stuff by having taxpayers pay to have their old pipes fixed.
