The majority of its funding is from viewers and private charities and foundations. Finding Your Roots is an ancestry show that delves into the lives of 3 prominent Americans of every race, creed, and political persuasion. It does not push any one agenda. It is educational, enlightening, and inspirational. It's too bad you couldn't put aside your bias just once to see what it's all about. You might actually like it and learn something about American, European, and African history.
