I'm sure most saw this laughable performance by Dersh (Epstein's good friend) today. So all trump (or any future president) has to do is justify acts like bribing a foreign nation for dirt on a political candate because he or she SAYS their re-election 'is in the pulblic interest."
The sad thing, fellow patriots, is this: It doesn't have to make sense to the MAGA. He could literally have gone up there and started reading nursery rhymes and the GOP Senators and the base would nod in agreement. There is literally no pretense whatsoever anymore of fair play or honest consensus.
The only thing that matters is that they 'win' the coming acquittal. The base will NOT care nor admit it was a corrupt result.
So. if you care about preserving the Republic, now is the time to commit to volunteering in your local, state and national elections not just in 2020 but forever. We have to be as comitted to SAVING our country and the idea of democracy as those on the right are committed to redesigning it in a truly myopic and sick version of its former state and future promise.
If this sounds dramatic, just look at the threads on the page. Do you see ANY effort by the other side to have a rational or fair discussion? Do you see it in the halls of Congress? Have you seen ONE decent tweet from trump in 3 years that sounds like a person who wants a United States of America?
