Of course, Trump can bring forth evidence of his innocence but chose not to. This is just fact finding in order to bring charges. If he can refute anything that he's been accused of, then he should have at it, and no article of impeachment could/would be filed if he disproves what they are accusing him of. Not all the hysterical and nonsensical rantings are not pointed lines of questioning. I watched almost 100% of both hearings and many, many times, the Pubs were just spouting off and putting on a show without any questions being asked. It was a calculated display criticizing the process and how bogus they thought it was, etc. You known the tactic to tell a lie as many times as you can in order to cause people to believe the lie---just wear people down.
