I was mailed several pages of what insurance was billed. I couldn't believe what they charged and for what; i.e., $4 for one tab of APAP and almost as much for a pack of tissues.

I called the insurance co. & we spent nearly an hour going over the charges. I had no idea what was reasonable/customary for doctors' fees. I DID know that APAP does not cost $4 per tab.

Drives me crazy when I hear people blithely say, "Oh, insurance will pay for it." Gah.
