I decided to volunteer at the local Catholic church for their meal for the needy. Nothing special, just scooping out food for the endless line of people.

It remains one of my favorite Christmases. Everyone should do it sometime.

BTW, the food was donated by people who earned it the old fashioned way.

That dreaded C word, capitalism.
