Can you explain exactly what a fake - subpoena is?

So asking for documents and requesting witnesses to appear before a committee in the House is somehow a violation of the Constitution? How is that? I think it's called gathering evidence to support the Articles of Impeachment, which is the prerogative of the House. You and others are really grasping at straws here. Is it just the word 'subpoena' that is tripping people up? What really is the problem.
