I agree completely that the 7K deductible discourages preventive care and early diagnosis and treatment AND Why have a free physical to find out you need care you cannot afford?

The Republicans' plan for healthcare is to support corporate insurance interests, plain and simple.

My insurance is why I stay with a slightly lower paying institution. After 30 years MT I went into cancer registry. I am 57 and ran into a good opportunity in an academic facility, they took a chance on me, I passed the certification last year. I barely made it into a "new" career. I took the $300 a month family of 4 plan which covers everything well at our facility. No deductible or $100, can't remember. I make $19.30 an hour and could work outsource for $28...but we all have had experience with outsource. Hard decision with 10 years left, basically good health...you're right, it's like going to the boat and gambling with....YOUR LIFE. Thanks Republicans AND neoliberal Democrats, either preventing or not enough guts to bring the change we need.
