I believe it does prove obstruction, but of - course he cannot be indicted Posted: Apr 22nd, 2019 - 9:19 am In Reply to: It revealed several things we didn't know, mainly - how much Trump tried
From what I have read and heard the reason Mueller did not charge obstruction was that a sitting president cannot be indicted, and that's the only reason.
He passed it on (to congress, NOT Bill Barr) for them to draw their own reasoned conclusions and clarify it for the rest of us and possibly begin impeachment hearings.
Personally, I am for impeachment. With all that the Mueller report reveals, we need to censure Trump and his cronies whose behavior was certainly questionable, perhaps unlawful, perhaps even treasonous. This cannot be allowed to happen again.
Most strikingly, there is absolutely NO orders from Trump to prevent Russia interfering in the next election - presumably Trump will not admit they helped him so of course he cannot order the massive measures required to safeguard the next election because (a) he can't admit they did it last time and (2) he wants them to do it again.
Get that info out there into the public and if they impeach and the Senate votes against it, let them defend their president. I want impeachment proceedings brought no matter what his Senate sycophants do.
I want Jared and Ivanka, both completely unqualified to represent our country in any way, out right now and I want close observation of Trump policies being enacted right now.
For example, that Oleg Deripaska is back in business after Trump lifted sanctions on him. That's what he was supposed to do in return for Putin's help, but the oversight did its job until now that they are letting the odd Trump favorite oligarchs to escape sanctions.
That's not right.
Stop this terrible administration doing bad bad things to our country and get every resource possible onto stopping Russian tampering in our elections.
