Rep. Crenshaw made this remark about Omar after she referred to 9/11 as "some people did something." He stated:
First Member of Congress to ever describe terrorists who killed thousands of Americans on 9/11 as “some people who did something”.
Omar acted like a victim over that remark. But worse was the media. Doesn't anyone have respect for our military anymore? They protect our country day and night and this is the thanks they get? It's despicable. They all need to serve to know what this country is all about. I haven't seen such nastiness since Viet Nam. I thought I'd never see that type of treatment again.
