Don't think for a minute that the same stuff does not go on in the opposing party. The only way to get your party to act the way you want them to is to participate and become engaged in the process. Armchair quarterbacking is not going to change anything. If you don't like something, do something about it. Write your congress people and senators. Get involved in local and state politics (Dem or Pub party groups, etc.). Vote with your feet, when you see someone or something you don't like. Posting complaints on an internet forum only does so much good, as far as educating and spreading the word to the limited audience here, who are mostly right-wing conservatives.
