to pursue happiness as long as it does not conflict with other people. A privilege is a special entitlement and is conditional and can be revoked.

A "right" is the ability to decide for one’s self or to make a choice. This is what fundamentally distinguishes a right from a privilege. A right is something that can be done because it originates commonly within all individuals, a privilege is something that cannot be done without permission.

I think the reason there is so much confusion between a right and a privilege is why we have big government.
