That the earth will "wax old like a garment." It is wearing out due to effects of sin, perhaps what man has done to it, of course, but just plain wearing out. It would make a lot more sense to focus on studying how we can get ready for Jesus' second coming because in the near future it is going to be burned up and made new by God. All of our possessions will be ashes. Our treasure is to be "laid up in heaven." This is all in the Bible. Man is not long for this earth. This is why I do not get involved in discussions such as this.
