The first slave owner was black. Only 2% of whites owned slaves.
Blacks slaves in the Middle East lived no longer than 5 yrs.
Many Blacks did NOT WANT TO HAVE TO GO BACK TO AFRICA so they SOLD THEMSELVES to white masters.
Many Arabs in Iraq and the Arabian peninsula refer to Africans as “slaves” to this day, regardless of their status.
