Sorry, of course it is not the fault of the voters - It has happened everywhere to different extents

Posted: Sep 12th, 2018 - 10:18 pm In Reply to: I live in North Carolina. Do NOT blame this on - voters. We are sick over it.

I used to live overseas and all my friends and family cannot believe what is happening here and they kind of always blame us for what our leaders do, unfortunately.

IMHO as soon as Trump got in my MT job became way more unstable than it had been, and I do believe had he not gotten in I would have been able to ride my job with a big MTSO for a couple of more years. Not now, they fired everyone.

The common denominator in all this? Deregulation. That is why Wall Street loves him and the 1%. Now business owners can do whatever they want, they have no obligations for any sort of decency to employees or to anyone's economy but their own. It's the wild west out there and it has all come in very very quickly on the Trump train.

If we don't watch out, so much more can be taken from us, both environmentally and in so many ways socially. Pretty sure we can't completely reverse this, especially with all those dumb judges he put in (and you know he didn't sit there poring over these guys, it was done by McConnell or some other clown ticking all the boxes).

But we can vote more people in who do want to keep Social Security, Medicare, some regulations to protect employees from corporations' ravages, and a govt that will repair infrastructure and look to the future for jobs and the environment, not to the past.
