You may understand the far left but you don't - understand those of us

that are just plain old democrats. You also don't understand that I don't like the attacks from far right and being told I am unAmerican because I don't agree with everything you agree with. It is unfortunate that both parties are pushing "far" agenda.

As far as "you didn't build that" here is what Obama said: "There are a lot of wealthy, successful Americans who agree with me -- because they want to give something back. They know they didn’t -- look, if you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. You didn’t get there on your own. I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something -- there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there.

"If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business -- you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn’t get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet.

"The point is, is that when we succeed, we succeed because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together. There are some things, just like fighting fires, we don’t do on our own. I mean, imagine if everybody had their own fire service. That would be a hard way to organize fighting fires.

"So we say to ourselves, ever since the founding of this country, you know what, there are some things we do better together. That’s how we funded the G.I. Bill. That’s how we created the middle class. That’s how we built the Golden Gate Bridge or the Hoover Dam. That’s how we invented the Internet. That’s how we sent a man to the moon. We rise or fall together as one nation and as one people, and that’s the reason I’m running for President -- because I still believe in that idea. You’re not on your own, we’re in this together."

Romney used this as a campaign tactic to smear Obama. I'm sure you did work hard as did I, but I don't think either you or I could be successful if it weren't for others to some degree and that is the gist of the statement.

I didn't call you a racist. I don't know what you said to get called a racist but I'm sure I would be considered a racist too because I have pointed out several times on this board that I don't agree with rioting during protests of BLM or whatever the group of the day is. I watch on the news the looting going on when they protest and just shake my head in disgust. I say all lives matter and if blacks want their lives to matter then make them matter.

I also don't want illegals and know nobody that does. I also understand that illegals are not the only ones destroying our country, as the far right would have you believe. We are destroying ourselves because too many people associate all democrats with extremist lefts and too many people are associating all republicans with extremist rights.

I think MeToo movement is something that is long overdue, but as with anything it is going too far in some cases and hurting the cause.

I am also called unAmerican because I watch football because I like football. That whole thing has gotten out of hand. When it first started, I figured whatever, this is a black man who felt the need to protest (mind you in a peaceful way) for a reason he felt he needed to protest. I see cases where cops are gunning down blacks for seemingly no reason other than they are black and I see cases where there is reason. I also know I probably feel different than a black person does on this. Anyway, I saw the whole thing fading away until Trump turned it into a being unAmerican thing. I've also seen military members support Kapernick because they say they fought for his right to protest. Having different views does not make you unAmerican.

Nobody is trying to "overturn" an election. They are trying to find out if our president is guilty of crimes that would make him unfit as president and with good reason. If there wasn't good reason to pursue the investigation then there wouldn't be one.

Lastly, don't tell me you understand liberals when you tell me I value illegals over you. I don't want them here either.
