It is. This guy's story is genuine, but they are trying to make it - sound like the amount is bigger than it really is.

There are a lot of Latinos who got fake US birth certificates in Texas and California. I read somewhere that if ICE found someone’s birth certificate is fake and that he or she got US citizenship via it, ICE would revoke their citizenship. I think it’s right thing to do.

I have a friend who works for the post office, processing passport applications. 90% of the time when the State Department says no it’s because you failed to do the paperwork properly.

According to my friend, when you try and instruct customers about this, at least half of them get angry at you and insist that you submit their application as-is.

And since postal clerks don’t want to spend all day arguing with idiots, that’s exactly what they do.

She says she knows the minute they leave the building whether they are getting approved or not.
