Educate yourself re: taxpayer money..sm - Old Anon

and NPR (National Public Radio). A very, very small amount of money by way of grants is given to NPR (probably by the National Endowment for the Arts). The rest of their money comes from private donors, foundations, charities, some private corporations/businesses and by NPR/PBS members, like me. It is NOT government-run radio. If you object to any government money being given to NPR, then lodge your complaint with the National Endowment for the Arts or any other government-sponsored agency who donates to them. Also, if you object to monies being given to NPR/PBS, then make sure not to watch anything on PBS (like Nova, Nature, Masterpiece Theater, PBS Kids, etc.) I object to your watching for free what I am paying for with my donation.
