things in the constitution that are not clear, like the right to life. The question gets to where does life begin? But there is nothing that specifies where life begins so conservatives believe life begins at conception and democrats don't. That's hardly writing laws, just different interpretations. Those on the right believe abortion should be illegal because of that. That's an interpretation of the constitution that belongs to the right.
