I may disagree with you but I respect your opinion and answer.

The one point I would make is that whether you like it or not, Christianity is not a requirement to be an American, being "straight" is not a requirement to be an American.

I believe you maybe are saying you voted for Trump because you thought the republicans shared more of your views but not necessarily all of them. I will say I voted for Hillary because democrats share more of my views than republicans, not necessarily all of them.

I think you might find more and more of us are truly more in the middle than either party.
