Who says the baker does not love these gay men? - sm

If he's anything like most of the Christians I know, he loves them a lot. Loving someone does not mean condoning anything and everything they do. If that were the case, parents would encourage their children's wrong behavior, for example. Loving someone most certainly does not require you to participate with them in something you consider sinful.

Jesus did not say "love thy neighbor as you would love me." Jesus said, "... you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength ... You shall love your neighbor as YOURSELF." In loving God above all, including ourselves, Jesus said the following: "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."

When the woman accused of adultery was about to be stoned, Jesus said, "He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first." All the men left one by one, their consciences convicting them. Then Jesus said to the woman, "Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?" She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more." Sin no more. Jesus did not condone what she did. She sinned, just like all of us sin.

The baker never judged these men. He didn't want to stone them or see their businesses fail. He simply wanted to remain faithful to his Lord and Savior Jesus by worshiping in spirit and truth.

The Word of God is truth.
