I remember when MT Stars started! I was already an MT and was actually delighted to find MT Stars way back when. In the beginning, I also frequented the board(s) almost daily and chimed in from time to time. Mostly, I helped out on the Word Help board. A few years back, I took a hiatus from this board due to all the negativity and personal attacks and snarls I receive on the Word Help board (still don't understand the need for pure nastiness). It was a real turn off and stopped posting for a long time actually. I returned a few years ago, but to answer the OP's original question -- yes, I have seen a dramatic decline in MTs visiting and participating in this board and an uptick in the negative postings and lashing out. Sadly, I find the same thing out in the "real world." More people seem to be rude, indifferent and just not courteous to others. Just my take, though. It's definitely not the world I was raised in (and I miss that greatly). Glad to be able to chat with those going through the same emotions. Onward and upward we go :)
