Jesus waging war - Peppermint Patti

Posted: Feb 17th, 2018 - 1:14 pm In Reply to: It is a false Christ. This man on the horse has a bow, and - Christ will not come with a bow.

Revelation is written in signs. A bow was an implement of war in Bible history. See Psalm 46:9 "breaks the bow to pieces and shatters the spear..." speaking of bringing an end to war. That war in Revelation is called Armageddon and explained very clearly in Rev.16:14-16 - "the war of the great day of God the Almighty...the place called Armageddon." Jesus is leading that war on the white horse. Again, obviously not to be taken literally with literal horses. Armageddon is also not a literal place. This place called Armageddon is much too small to fit "all the kings of the earth." Rather, this place was a literal place on earth where many strategic battles were fought. Yes, Christ also has a sword - The Bible is called a "two-edged sword." (Hebrews 4:12). Showing that when someone hears "The Word" it will motivate the one who hears and also is obedient to The Word. Religious deception is identified as "Babylon the Great."
