Are We Morphing into Russia? - NotRussian

So I came across this story about Trump's deputy drug "czar."

Since it's too easy to miss the forest for the trees while focusing on day-to-day political minutiae -- which occurs frequently here and elsewhere -- I want to focus on a larger topic.

During the Obama years, many Americans took umbrage at the use of the term/title "czar" for certain appointees.  America had NEVER used that term!  Czar/Csar/Tsar has, however, been used in Russia.

I Googled around and initially thought that only media outlets were using the term because the actual/official title -- in this case, at least -- DOES NOT contain the word "czar."

Lo and behold, the POTUS tweeted the term.  So the White House itself is using the term!

Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump tweeted Tuesday that Rep. Tom Marino, a Pennsylvania Republican, has withdrawn his name from consideration to become the nation's next drug czar.
"Rep. Tom Marino has informed me that he is withdrawing his name from consideration as drug czar," Trump tweeted. "Tom is a fine man and a great Congressman!"

This is disgusting!  Are TPTB trying to turn us into Russia?
All you "conservatives" here who criticized the use of the term by the Obama administration need to be consistent and criticize Trump as well.  And don't even start with "it's just a word."  If you don't appreciate that nomenclature matters then you  shouldn't be working in MT.
