Cried so hard when I heard the news, had a headache for several days.
This woman, and this band were spectacular. Saw them live at Jones Beach, 1999. The best concert I've ever seen-- I mean, her talent and energy were second to none. Mesmerizing. She was also pregnant at the time, and I could not believe the performance level of energy, notwithstanding her 'condition!' Pure joy, goodness and love was she. I hope she knew that, at least on better days :)
P.S. Just heard "Linger" playing loudly on a Sunday morning at Walmart; they got this right :)
