But -- according to your "logic" -- hospitals are some new type of business entity so are off the hook.
Hospitals DRIVE the industry. Hospitals follow each other's decisions (I watched MT departments close like dominoes here) too. Physicians usually follow what "their" hospital(s) (where they're privileged) does/do.
No, HOSPITALS CAN AFFORD MTs. THEY HAVE FOR DECADES. The only difference is that now they are TOO CHEAP to pay us thanks to the "GLOBAL ECONOMY" all the idiots (some here) have been CHEERING.
