I feel horrible for the people that have been here for years illegally, have families, jobs, et., BUT they came here illegally. Last week they deported a Mexican man in Detroit who was here illegally for 29 years, yet did not become a citizen. He was brought here illegally by his parents when he was 10.
So basically these people are breaking the law to come to the United States. I feel horrible for his wife and children but at the end of the day he had plenty of time to become a US citizen and didn't. He has no one to blame but himself. HE tore up his family, not America. He had 29 years to become a citizen but didn't. We are a nation built on laws and anyone coming in this country either follows the laws set down or they need to go back.
I don't support Trump on pretty much anything except this.
My parents came here with 6 kids after Malta was pretty much destroyed by Germany in World War II. Their names are in the registry on Ellis Island. It took them over 2 years to get permission to come here. My uncle was already here and he sponsored my parents, gave my dad a job. They came here legally and were productive throughout their lives. Didn't need welfare, free insurance or food stamps. Hell, I see American's get turned down for food stamps yet illegals can get them. What is wrong with this picture?
I don't think the wall is going to keep them out but I do agree we need additional border security to keep illegals out.
I will go one further. All immigrants coming into the United States should be mandated to learn OUR language within 1 year of entering this country. Not enable them to continue to speak their foreign language and have a translator to speak the "native" language.
Also, if you are here illegally and you are convicted of a crime you should go directly to the airport and sent back to your country. No 2 ands or buts about it. Why should they be housed in our prisons, get 3 meals a day, roof over their heads, clothes to wear, etc., while we as taxpayers pay the bill.
As much as this hurts I have to say Go Trump.
Just so you know I despise that man. I am waiting for him to part the waters since every time he opens his foul mouth he toots his horn like he sits at the right hand side of God.
