Ikea online ordering nightmare - F

Just thought I'd warn you all.  Late Oct. Ikea had a special for free shipping for a couple days.  I love their stuff but don't live near one so thought I'd take advantage of it and ordered some furniture.  Apparently buying in store is okay but their .com business is run differently/separately and it was a nightmare.  Probably spent a total of 4 hours (several calls) on the phone to them and their delivery company.  Never did get the furniture.  A month later I finally cancelled the order.  They continued to give me the run around  in regard to my return payment to my credit card.  I called Citicard and they had the amount credited to my account within a couple days.  I order a lot of things online (Amazon, Walmart, Costco), have never experienced such poor customer service like this ever.  I never spoke to a CSR  unless I had waited at least 40 minutes for every call.  Apparently this is typical.  I researched it and this is not an uncommon thing for them, in fact it is typical for their online delivery service.  Obviously I should have done the research first.   (Maybe I should alert Clark Howard the consumer advocate).
