The 'christians' of today only parse out the Sermon on the Mount for the Beattitudes on Sunday Morning, the actual words of Jesus (or when it doesn't apply to their behavior, it's just a compliation of things He may have said), but the book of Revelation, written by an 80 year-old madman in prison is THE WORD about the promise of God's wrath to everyone but you. Revelation was handpicked by Constantine to make Paul the authority on Jesus and to keep in line the socialist Christians of the day, forcing them to conform to the red-hat-wearing false teachings of the Vatican. When our leaders apply literally the words of Jesus in Matthew 6 to their lives, I'll believe your little "history" tirade about Revelation. It's a book of misteaching...all but the letters in red... and there are none of those in Revelation.
