That consistent low growth rate is a first for any US president.

Obama didn't believe in trickle down. He wanted corporations to give their money to the government ("pay their fair share") and let the government redistribute it.

We know what happened there. See the recent articles on the Paradise Papers. See Obama's subsequent speeches about corporations not paying up.

Reagan believed in trickle down as did the Bushes and even Clinton to an extent. The economy did really well under all of them.

Trump also believes in trickle down and there's a Republican congress. There will be more trickle down policies enacted. We'll just have to wait and see how it all shakes out. The facts show that Trump's economy is already experiencing growth. They haven't passed anything yet. That growth is happening on the promise of trickle down.
