Another misdirection sadly. Notice it says 'the average American family' and not 'American families, on average'
Semantics, and directing attention away from the fact that tax cuts are directly linked to budget cuts or an increased deficit. In the case of the current proposal, massive revenue cuts due to massive tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations.
Enjoy your 'average' $4000 and watch as the infrastructure continues to crumble.
According to a table of tax reductions available at 'Business Insider' a family making 50,000 a year will see an $800 reduction while a family or corporation making $1,000,000 per year will see a $93,000 reduction.
So 'average family' enjoy your hush money while the budget gets slashed and burned.
