The reason I ask if you had a phone job is because that means you're good on the phone and you can do mice a favor. Got this in my email today from a humane organization:
"In a laboratory at the University of Pittsburgh (Pitt), vulnerable mice are being used in deadly taxpayer-funded experiments in which their abdomens are cut open and their intestines punctured so that harmful bacteria leak into their stomachs, causing an agonizing condition known as "septic shock."
These experiments will never help people because research has found that sepsis in mice is completely different from sepsis in humans.
Please call Pitt Chancellor Patrick Gallagher and urge him to stop these cruel and wasteful experiments immediately. His office can be reached at 412-624-4200."
