I understand speaking up for people who might have some - issues speaking for themselves, but I

just can’t fathom why so many waste so many words on illegals. It doesn't mean we want to treat them badly. We just want them to obey the law. I really don't blame them. I blame politicians.

I had a local preacher who was wasting hours of everyone’s time with stupid debates like this. I just showed up at his door with a pitcher of sweet tea. We sat down, shared a glass (I had unsweetened in a separate container), and I asked him when was the last time he visited his neighbors with some beverages or snacks in hand.

It’s turning into a tiny movement in town and one who started visiting a local senior complex noticed that someone was slurring their words and walking funny vs the previous couple times she’d seen him, called it in to authorities and medical came and assessed him, finding that he was mid stroke and got him to treatment in time to contain the damage.

It’s just so many people get wrapped up in social media when their actual calling is to engage people in person. It really is kind of insidious how social media puts to an end actual personal social interaction. It's just like govt welfare being called "charity" when in fact it's theft and shifts the act from the person to the govt that after all does it for votes.

Sometimes it’s just a good thing to turn off that computer screen and go talk with people face to face again.
