I like my space, so understand what you're saying about cramped spaces. If there is room outside, could you have a tent set up as your office, weather permitting? It might be a pain in the butt to gather your equipment to bring in after your shift, and set up beforehand, but should become a mindless habit eventually. If anything, it would give you a change of scenery and not be cooped up in the RV.
