The original news report - sigh

Sigh,
Once, again, just the conservative fringe group reporting, other than the original report by KFOR in OK. What I got from the report is that the mosque and Muslim community has been receiving a lot of redneck death threats and the White House sent a reassuring message to keep up the "faith" and proceed on, that they are being recognized for the decent human beings they are and that they still have all the rights they ever had to pursue their own chosen faith in the United States of America.
Why Does FEAR give the right to repress others' rights? in this case to exist?

This is nothing short of appalling! Who does B.O. think he is? He does NOT represent me, that's for sure! How dare he send this letter on behalf of American citizens!
Yes, and I wasn't represented very - well in going to war in Iraq?
[ In Reply To ..]
It's called electing a President---they do things in the name of American citizens. He was elected and will remain the President of the United States until, say, January 20, 2017 at about 12:00:01.
Obamalovers can never stay on topic. Never. - I've noticed (sm)

Maybe it's they're embarrassed by the idiot.
Non-Obamalovers don't seem to understand - analysis and conclusions

drawn from other facts, sources and similar situations.
Facts, and using one's brain to find them, is - something GOP-ers have never mastered.

Pointing out that President Obama does indeed represent all Americans - just as Bush did in starting a war many of us did not want - is hardly off topic.
TomQ, - speaking of off topic...

We need your comments, specifically questions directed to you, on the Faith Board.

Yeah, sorry, I've been very busy the past several days. I'll try to get caught up soon.
Obamalovers also deflect when the topic is uncomfortable for them. - sm

I think they ARE embarrassed. I know I am and I didn't even vote for him.
Nothing could possibly be more embarrassing - than to be closed-minded GOP.

Obamalovers also blame Bush whenever things get rough for them. - nm

Probably because Bush is largely responsible - for making life in the US so rough.

Oh, please, your king has had 6 years to fix it. - He's inept (sm)

An overrated community organizer
Excuse me, I thought President Obama's job - was to be President
[ In Reply To ..]
Not to fix Bush's mess. He is not a freaking janitor, after all. Let the Republican party clean up their mess, or would they rather do nothing in congress?
I am grateful to Bush for showing what disaster happens when a conservative is in power for 8 years, especially a puppet like him of far more evil minds such as Cheney.
Supreme Court staffed by corporate lackeys who are extremely confused about religion and the constitution. Infrastructure crumbling. Never put his wars in the budget for some reason. Police state that is scary. Anti-woman legislation in the guise of anti-abortion, when in reality making birth control available is the best way to stop abortion. Making hatred of immigrants into a new and nasty art form (that's really the only reason Bush won, he at least got the Latino vote, but now they shun it). The environment and global warming laughed away and Cheney making billions and somehow he doesn't have to tell us what is in fracking juice? Why?
Worst of all? They actively try to stop you voting unless you vote for them, they are trying to wipe out the middle class, and anything that is good for middle and lower class workers they are against, such as the minimum wage, stopping wage theft (which we MTs are victims of), offshoring, outsourcing, equal pay, affordable education.
I could go on. Ad nauseum.
For your reading enjoyment, I have included a link (to Forbes, not some filthy liberal rag) that states why President Obama beat the pants off Ronald Reagan economically.
O's economic management outperformed Reagan's? - Love it.

Enjoyed every word of this Forbes link. Wonder if anyone will attempt to spin these cold hard facts. Thanks for posting this.
Community organizers have more going for them - than spoiled, entitled, old, rich white men.

No, I think it's because we get tired of the right's - monotonous repetition of the same spew.

Over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.
Do you all have OCD? Is that the problem?
Yup. The men are overpaid obstructionist bullies; - the women are Stepford wives.

It's all just TOO creepy. ;)
If you want to play-act at calling someone an Obamalover, - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
I'm sure you won't mind if I play-act at calling you a racist.
Racism accusation is a bit overused these days. - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
But maybe that's all you've got. Pathetic.
It probably appears "overused" to those who - are using racism the most.
[ In Reply To ..]
.
No dear, racism itself is a bit overused - and sorry and tired...sm
[ In Reply To ..]
I did not accuse. I said play-act for a reason. To use the term Obamalover is to engage in histrionic pretense. Someone with integrity can come out and say what they're saying without little weasel games. If someone wants to be a racist, they should either have the cojones to come out and own what they say, or keep their mouth closed.
I thought it very appropriate and - representative

of what America stands for and all its people should believe.
Don't worry - I don't think there's anyone in - the US that would want to represent -

the vile, unfounded, racist feces you and your Republican friends love to smear here, there and everywhere.
Like the comment at the end, don't wish them well for me. - Because I don't.
