Khruschev always said he would bury us from within. Have you read the “Current Communist Goals?” There are 45 of them listed in the Congressional Record Appendix of January 10, 1963 titled “Current Communist Goals” in a statement read by Hon. A.S. Herlong, Jr. from "The Naked Communist," by Cleon Skousen]. It needs to be stopped unless we want to become a Communist nation. Those protesting they don’t want to be ruled by fascism which is they think is the democratic process of laws, but they'll be happy to live under Communism? How many of those I listed have come to fruition? I didn’t list all of them but did the most important goals that have been accomplished or close to being accomplished. I know this is long but it has to get out there.
15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States; (DONE!)
16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights; (HAPPENING NOW)
17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks. (HAPPENING NOW)
18. Gain control of all student newspapers. (HAPPENING NOW)
19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack. (HAPPENING NOW)
20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions. (DONE!)
21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures. (DONE!)
26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity, as "normal, natural, healthy." (DONE!)
28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression n the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state." (DONE!)
29. Discredit the America Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis. (HAPPENING NOW)
35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI. (HAPPENING NOW!)
36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions. (HAPPENING NOW)
40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce. (HAPPENED)
41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. (HAPPENING-“It Takes A Village)
42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use united force to solve economic, political or social problems. (HAPPENING NOW).
44. Internationalize the Panama Canal. (DONE!)

My grandfather helped build the Panama Canal. Shame. All those - communist goals are pretty much complete.

And of note I personally didn't always agree with Obama either. It's now about who's in office (well technically in this case, yeah it is), it's about what's going to be done and how. You can't put a megalomaniac in power and expect good things to happen. I'm just trying to block this whole nightmare out and not think about what we're actually paying for and just praying it doesn't hit my personal wallet too drastically.

I remember reading the Naked Communist by W. Cleon Skousen - years ago. He worked in the FBI

This is a simple and straightforward book that examines the philosophies and objectives of Communism and outlines the history of the Communist takeovers in Russia, Eastern Europe, China, Korea, and Cuba. He also details the shortcommings of Communist teachings and society. Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Krushchev, and Castro are discussed in detail, as well as many others, including some influential Americans. Mr. Skousen makes very plain the threat of Communism in the United States and how previous failures to act led to so many countries falling to Communism.
I don't remember why I initially picked up this book, but at the time I doubted that it had much relevance in today's world. With the fall of the Soviet Union I thought it was pretty much a moot point. But I was surprised at how much it sounded like things I've heard variously from students and teachers in college classes - all since the fall of the USSR. Then came Bernie Sanders!
I found the analysis of how Communism came to be such a powerful force in the world and its failures to provide for the people was very interesting and hard to put down. It parallels what I'm reading in another book by a Chinese journalist who experienced firsthand the Communist takeover in China.
The book is written clearly and in plain language, and there are plenty of footnotes. It will certainly make you look at organizations such as the United Nations and the ACLU very differently. Overall, an interesting and convincing analysis of Communism not only as a political philosophy but also from a historical perspective.

I see it as mostly the Dems achieving most of these goals because one of the items (which I'm nost sure I listed) was to take over one or both political parties and there was a slow progrssion of the Democratic party takeover back in the 60s when #28 happened up until today where now they don't hide their agenda at all.
