nor notified in advance of Trump's decision to ban transgender people from the military. Another case of liar, liar, pants on fire. I guess it means we will go back to don't ask don't tell? Maybe the gay community will be next? Maybe he will be coming for you next? Speak up now or forever hold your peace. America's honor is literally at stake. The right does not want to hear it, especially the religious right, but the president they continue to defend and support could very well be the proverbial "AntiChrist" or maybe even a test by God himself to see if we Chirstians do indeed follow in His footsteps. If true, there are many who may just be turned away at the pearly gates when they fail the test.

Only in the summer of last year did the ban technically end. And, in practice, it remained in force. All the while there was no angry clamor about the suffering of potential recruits who couldn’t enlist. Those who are fuming with outrage now had hypocritically remained silent. Obama had done it. So it must be good.
Obama had kept the ban in place for almost his entire two terms in office. And he found a way to retain it throughout his final months. With a year’s review, the transgender recruits could only be accepted after he was out of the White House. That way he could have his social justice cake and eat it too. He would get the credit for ending the transgender ban without dealing with any of the problems.
How brave of Obama, to wait until his term was almost - up leaving the next president

Trump announces that he's banning "transgenders" from the military. Okay. Cue the outrage. But why the outrage in the first place? Were there transsexuals trying to sneak into the military by referring to themselves as transgenders? I doubt that.
I will admit I'm a bit conspiratorial, but I see him playing serious head games with the Dems and the establishment. Trump spent most of last week throwing Sessions under the bus. Then Pubs and Dems came to Sessions defense and said Trump would be out of line to fire Sessions. That's an interesting admission and Trump now has it on record in the media.
Let's look at the substance of Trump's Sessions bashing. He railed against Sessions recusing himself from the Russia investigation and Sessions not going after the Dems for things they did during the campaign. Sessions seems to have gotten the message. The very public message.
Now Trump has created a nothing controversy of banning transgenders, when transsexuals were already banned. He may be providing cover from the media while his people work behind the scenes.
What's Sessions up to this week? What are the Congress-critters doing this week?
No one else notices this? Do you really prefer that the media focuses on how Trump hurt the feelings of transgenders in the military? Right now, that's all that's happened. He announced a ban. Now tell me the plan to implement it. Is it even going to be implemented? Does it matter?

[ In Reply To ..]It is simple, biological logic. Anyone who has raised a teenager, and I've raised two, knows what hormones can do to a person's emotional/mental state. Same for women who struggle through menopause, of which I am one. I do not believe that people taking such quantities of hormones would be reliably stable, especially stable enough to be a member of the military. It is only my opinion that I believe transgenderism is a mental illness and that, itself, precludes one from military service.

I woke up 2 days ago with the worst shoulder pain ever and went to the doc where he did an x-ray. It showed I have a loose body in the joint space. He gave me Tramadol and told me to use ice and heat and maybe it would calm down on its own. Otherwise, he said he would refer me to an orthopedist for shoulder arthroscopy and loose body removal. He is very conservative (he knows this), but I would like to know if anyone has had this and if the loose body does ever work its way back to whereve ...
